DIT offer a range of BAROID INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS.  As the West Australian distributor for BAROID, we provide a comprehensive line of drilling, plugging, abandonment and well rehabilitation and also development products specifically engineered to optimize performance and end-user costs.

We stock a wide range of BENTONITE products, including :-

QUIK GEL, AQUA GEL, BENSEAL, HOLE PLUG AND  BENTONITE PELLETS.

BENTONITE PELLETS are formed from high yielding sodium bentonite which has been processed without organic polymers or other additives.

When correctly placed and allowed to hydrate, a semi solid, but flexible seal is formed.  The hydrated pellets are chemically stable in the presence of water, brines, and waters containing organic hydrocarbons.

Advantages include :-

• Hardened form eliminates premature swelling and allows use in wet or dry holes.
• Does not generate heat on hydration
• No organic or chemical treatment associated with the pellets.
• Available in 1/4",  3/8" or 1/2".

PEL-PLUG TR30 is one of our newer additions to our Bentonite product range.

PEL-PLUG TR30 is a high yielding western bentonite in pellet form with a 30 minute delay.

Advantage of this feature is that the pellets can be used to seal off holes at a greater depth.

The product can be used in the following applications :-

• Sealing/plugging
• Well bores
• Lost circulation
• Grouting of well casing
